What is a surf skate? It is not classic skateboarding, not surfing, it is a synthesis of two sports. It was developed by surfers who wanted to work on their surf technique on wave-free days. It is also an excellent alternative for those who want to catch the feeling of surfing on land without entering the water.
Our surf skate lessons are suitable for our friends who want to prepare for surfing, improve their technique or take up a fun hobby independently of surfing.
We have a 4 hour basic training package for surf skate. We usually divide these 4 hours into 2 or 3 times, not all at the same time. We communicate according to your free time and create a special program for you. We set a time and meet at our school in Tırmata Beach, Istanbul. We provide all the equipment for surf skate. What you need to bring with you is comfortable shoes, comfortable clothes and a towel.
Our aim is to put you in a position where you can comfortably ride and turn on the surf skate at the end of the training. After the training, you can continue to practice with your own equipment.
You do not need to have any prior knowledge or experience, motivation is enough.
Of course you can. Surfskate is a sport independent of kitesurfing or surfing. You can start this sport without learning about them or even being interested in them.
All necessary equipment to learn Surfskate is provided by Surf School Istanbul. All you need to bring with you is comfortable shoes, a towel and sunscreen. If you want to swim after the lesson, don’t forget your swimsuit and shorts.
